t7316e and BCM50 call duration FEAT 77

Greetings again,

We are using the t7316e phones. The agents have been instructed to check their call times and write them down.
The way they are checking is by entering FEATURE 77. When they do this the time is initially given is accurate but if during the same call the agent enters feature 77 again, the original duration is given and doesn't change until the next call comes in. Even if the call is 10 minutes long, if the agent checked 1:00 minutes into the call the call will continue to display 1:00 not the actual duration of 10:00 minutes.

Is there a way to actually have a timer display on the unit or should it be updating and something appears to be configured incorrectly?

It should work like you want it the time should show the time each time you press the feature during the call. First I would reboot if that dosen't do it make sure you have the latest patches for the s/w you have. If you need this and more info use the callcenter reporting this will give all kinds of call info. And there is no setting for feature 77.
