T7316 Programming

How do I program buttons 9 and 1 on the T7316 sets. It doesnt seem to give the option to change it???

I want to set button 9 to last number called and number 1 to line 005.

First do a button inquiry on them to see what is on them now with FEATURE *0.
To assign the line, you will have to go into LINE ASSIGNMENT under terminals and sets. You may want line 025 instead of line 005, depending on what software you are running.

Button 9 might have an intercom assigned to it, which would keep you from putting a feature code on it.

Please post back with your findings with the FEATURE * 0 and your system type if you need more assistance.

I dont show a line 005, so is it 025 that I am looking for as the next line after 4?

If you don't need 2 intercom buttons, you will have to change it to 1 under TERMINALS and SETS, LINE ACCESS, INTERCOM KEYS. That will free up the button wso that you can manually put a feature code on it.
Yes, on newer Norstar systems, the 5th line is actually line 25 etc.
