t7316 phone show as m7310 cant change it

the m7310 set type shows in the system EVEN if on the back of the phone the phone model shows t7316 but the issue i run into here it shows it as 10 + 24 button and the programmable line keys show up as

but all the other phones show up as t7316e

is there a update or soemthing in the system that i need to do because i connected a t7316e phone where a m7310 (but its really a t7316) to an ext lost all its button progamming because it was a 10+24

and not a 16+8 like the t7316e phones


Really tricky im very new to the nortel but its easy to learn..

I think I am confused what you are saying all together.

T7316e you need 6.1 software to get all the features.
Anything before 6.1 will look like an M7310 in programming.
