T7208's MWI Light Flashing after System Changes

Hello All,

Nortel CICS with Startalk Flash, I don't have the current versions at the present time.

I was asked to make some modifications to phone system programming and voicemail. After these changes, both the 2 T7208 Handsets now flash as if there is a message waiting however there is no messages in either Mbox. Feature 65 /Feature#65 shows "no message", and there is no messages in either Mbox.

Here are the changes I made:
Created Hunt Group 290 and added 5 members both these 2 t7208 sets are included in this as members, making lines app/ring.
In voicemail table pointed attendant to 290 and under feature 982 also made operator 290.

This was done to allow people pushing digit 0 to point to HG/290 and ring associated phones within this group. When calls go unanswered because 290 is not a valid Mbox, Mbox 100 picks up and the voicemails go into Mbox 100 which I have associated to Ext222.(which is an M7208)

Anyone know why the T7208's mwi keep flashing? Even when Mbox 100/Ext 222(M7208) clears the messages from there Mbox

Any help resolving this would be great....
 
Do the phones have personal mailboxes?

F981 does it say log or Pswd?

Yes both extensions have personal mailboxes.
I have confirmed they both have no messages in there mbox.
 
Flashing does not sound right, a message is a steady light, flashing is usually a hold or incoming call.

Hi All,

Sorry, I should have mentioned before, I had customer unplug phone set but did not fix.

I can try and reboot the phone system to see if that changes the state of the flashing.

Not sure what is causing it.
