T7100 Question

I have a 8x24 with DR5 software and have 10 T7100 phones that will be used for making outgoing calls only. I have programmed them to Hotline external, entered a pause, and use prime line in the capabilities of each Ext. Also i programmed the prime line to be the intercom, and gave them line pool access. My question is that each time a phone is picked up to make a call, i get a tone like the one that the page feature uses. Is this normal? I can make calls ok, it's just this tone comes on
when i lift the handset. It last's about a second.

That is normal from my experience. The quick tone lets you know something is happening... in this case the hotline dialing.

Is this only with the T-series phones?

I don't think it's phone specific... should happen on any Norstar phone (M or T series)
