T7020 on D1232 1

I am trying to add some 7020 phones to some unused ports on a D1232 with. I only get dead air on the hand sets, you can dial numbers, but no other buttons work. I have checked the wiring and everything looks ok..I have both pairs hooked up and polarity correct. Any ideas on what I am missing?

The 7000 series phones need all 4 wires (2 pairs) connected and xdp turned off to work

Thanks. I have the 2 pairs connected. If I turn off xdp, will that disable my xdp sets? Is it possible to use xdp and hybrid sets simultaneously?

This is done per port. If you have standard phone connected to the center pair it will work as a Parnell phone
