T600 selftest fail

I have a HP T600 w/1 proc & 256 mb mem.The problem is when it starts to load the PDC, it will hang & then give me a FAULT with no #. When I check the logs it tells me "all system procs failed selftest" but this is a known good proc.
I've also tried 3-4 different procs w/same results. We have another (unused) T600 that does the same thing. Have tried to deconfig & reconfig the procs & mem. w/no change. What am I donig wrong? Any ideas?
