My trusty Visor Pro is showing signs of screen fatigue, so I want to get one of the above before Tax year ends. Let's assume they can all be had for between about $200 and $350 - does anyone have any particular comments on one or more? I don't NEED or really want a camera or music, want a fair sized screen, will upload lots databases and doc files, but the main use is calendar and memo. It looks like none of them have a replaceable battery.

Thanks.

We use the Tungsten E at work, so I checked on battery replacement. Yes, it's possible, but not for the faint-of-heart.:
I prefer the Tungsten C because of the built in keyboard. I have replaced the battery on that one. Takes a #6 torx, same size as cell phones. The hard part there is getting the old battery out without bending the cover plpate that is glued on (or in my case, trying to flatten it again so the stylus functions correctly), but at least you don't need a soldering iron. There haven't been any complaints from the 10 people here who have Tungsten Es in the 6 months we've had them. One person loved the voice memo feature.

Great tip/site. It looks very straight forward, actually, apart from getting the case open (for which there is a tool). At a total of maybe $35 compared to about $100 at Palm, it's worth i.

For information I ended up getting the T3. The new OS is definitely superior, the sideways screen is a boon, entering text directly on the screen makes it possible to have foreign language characters immediately available in the text entry area..all good.

Only issue is really the battery, which can run out in two days of use. Solitaire runs it down in very short time. After the Visor Pro with some two weeks or more on a battery with occasional use, it's a rude awakening.
