There is a site with a basic T1,
( Slot Type Format Supp Signal LineComp
6 T1 ESF B8ZS Rob_Bit 1 ).
All outbound calls work fine. The DID's do not
work at all. Besides the number of digits being
passed, am I forgetting something? This should be
a slam dunk. I am looking over this system for a
friend because he can't get the CO to get it working.

Thanks,

John

Well, as a matter of fact, I worked on one just today that didn't work. (First time in a LONNNNG time I wasn't doing PRI!)

I couldn't set TOUCH TONE in or OUT, so I did a board renumber.

Now, the results are HAZY at best, 'cause it took a few minutes for every thing to start working.

I was remote, so I coulnt'd see the status light on the T1, but in a bit, it was working just fine.

So, my suggestion is (1) see if you can set TT in & out and if you can't try a board renumber.

Then try again.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Figured it out last night! All was correct and working properly in the pbx. Test calls from IL to the system in Nevada, worked fine. Test calls local worked fine. Only test calls from Phoenix didn't work. (Come to find out...) The problem was reported with incomplete data. It ended up being just certain trunk groups into the CO circuit reseller's software. They built some translations to fix the problem. Some trunk groups send 7 digits, some 10 and they needed to compensate and then strip to 3 for the DID's. Hope this helps someone in the future. It was a pain, but we found it.

Thanks again for your time and responce.

John
