Cisco 2620 with single ethernet port and T1 WIC; can the T1 dsu/csu wic be configured to work with Comcast Broadband Modem? If not, what options do I have to configure this router to work with a broadband modem?

Thanks

contsi,

I do not think that you can get that T1 WIC to work with your broadband!

But what you can do is get a Network module that adds 1-2 Ethernet ports or one that adds 1-2 Fast Ethernet ports - on eBay they run about $25 to $50 for the Ethernet and about $200 for the Fast Ethernet modules!

Someone might have another WIC card that might work!

Hope this helps!

I assume it's a cable modem? If so, you will need another ethernet module (WIC-1ENET) and set the IP as dhcp and connect it with a straight-through cable to the modem, and if you plan on doing NAT, then set the modem in bridge mode.
