IS-IT--Management
I have a point to point T1 between my corporate office and my call center. I am moving a sizeable amount of people to the call center shortly. I need to be able to measure the moves affect on the P2P T1's bandwidth. I know the telcos have expensive equipment that they use to measure bandwidth, however, my telco refuses to leave this equipment at my site for a reasonable length of time. What tools are there out there that can do this and that are cheap or free? I have access to sniffers and protocol analyzers, however, I want to look at the bandwidth on ONE particular circuit between offices.
Both offices are connected with Cisco 1600 routers. Both offices have Catalyst 4000 switches.
This might be the wrong forum, but there is no T1 or DS1 forum.
Thanks
