T1 trunk Type

Can a T1(non-PRI) be programed with diferent trunk types on the same DTI card. I want to have my CLEC provision 12 channels for DID and 12 channels for out bound traffic.
The MICS is 4.1 release

Yes this can be done. Just program the channels (lines) in the MICS according to their function.

I should have included this originaly but ...
Can the Norstar PRI trunks be programed for for both inbound DID service and also outbound ? For example all 24 are able to get inbound DID calls and also be in an outgoing pool. The CLEC says they can have their trunks do both

I believe they are DIOD's.
On a PRI it's 23.

That's the advantage of PRI over a regular T1. Each channel of a PRI can perform multiple functions.

Thats just 1 of the MANY advantages of a PRI over standard T1. The setup and teardown is much faster as is the ability to get and send different "callerid" information, including name and number (inbound)

Jsaad- you still have to toggle with 6.1- regardless of the line type.
