T1 to Paradyne 3160 to Cisco 2851

We have partitioned a T1 for 6 channels of voice and 18 channels of data. We having a problem handing with the data. Our voice off the DTE port of the Paradyne is working but no data. If we put a Adtran in place, the data flows. The Adtran does not have provisions fo a voice/dte application. Our thought is the V.35 to serial cable from the Paradyne to the Cisco 2851. Are there different V.35 to serial cables? Any other ideas and or suggestions?
