Hello All, I have a problem with setting up an internal T1:

I have set it up as follows: DTI E&M Wink ESF B8ZS

I have a DID setup as an ACD DN routed through the T1.

The problem is that I can access the end equipment fine internally, however when I dial the number externally, the end equipment does not recognize voice or DTMF.

I have and SL1 switch.

Make sure you have DTN at the CLS prompt of the trunks I think the default is Dial Pulse (!loco!)

Is your SICA table in LD73 set up correctly for this & does it match the other end. When you say it is an internal T1, do you mean it is a DTI between 2 M1's?

Thanks for your posts NT and wdhb.

I have DTN in the CLS.

I'll check the SICA table to make sure both ends match up. I'm a little boggled why it would work when dialing internally and not externally.

The T1 is set up between my switch and a server using a Dialogic T1 card. It is used for dictation puposes.

Maybe my logic is incorrect:

DID from CO set up as an ACDN and NCFW to an RDB.

Is there a way to control the wink times within the switch?

if the tie line is setup as DID then it wont go. cant jump did to did. make sure TRNX and EXTT are set to yes.

sorry that was TRNX and EXTT in ld 15 under net-data
