T1 question : What does this output mean. Emergency.

I have a T1 between an Opt 81c and an Opt 11 that shows to be idle and no alarms, but it will not allow calls, and I keep getting these errors filling up the screen concerning it.

The loop is 42 and the dch of the T1 is 50.

Check your system clocks for both sides.

See if anyone's in free-run. The error is a misalignment indication in the frame-timing.

also check lcnt in load 60 and rcnt to clear those tables, when errors reach thresholds set in 73 the t stops talking

On the Opt 11 the clocking says it is locked to slot 9, which is the pck. I reset the counters and it didn't take 10 minutes for it to be back to over a 100 framing loss ticks.

call the provider, you've either got a bad card or a dirty t1. that's not a software problem. if i was on site i would replace the card and retest

We replaced, in the Opt 11, the PRI card, clock daughterboard, and dch dautherboard. The T1 is usable but the calls sound crackly and worse than a cell phone call and the 81c end is still spitting out the framing errors I posted originally like crazy.

Also, as for the link, it is over our own microwave transport and that is as clean as always.

So, now what? Could it be in the headend maybe?

PLACE A LOOPBACK PLUG WHERE THE T GOES INTO THE MICROWAVE EQUIPMENT, SEE IF YOU TAKE ANY ERRORS THEN. YOU WILL LOOSE THE DCH AND ALL CALLS UNTIL YOU MAKE THE T NORMAL AGAIN. THEN DO THE SAME AT THE 81C. ALSO MAKE SURE BOTH ENDS ARE SET THE SAME AS IN ESF-B8ZS, IF BOTH ENDS RUN CLEAN IT'S MICROWAVE

yes if your sure your micro is clean the only thing left if the head end. post your lcnt table

if this was up and working without problems, it's not a layer 7 problem. techs don't usually fix stuff that isn't broke.. if both ends are not interfaced right, th etrouble would be day 1. an upgrade on either ned could cause problems but not this one
