T1 Programming on a Norstar (Not a PRI)

I have a MICS that lost all its programming, they have a straight T1 (no pri), I can't figure out the settings to make this work. I am good on the target lines, there is no 9 in the pool codes, but will not let me build a dest code with a 9. I can build one with 8, but they are saying busy or in use. Also they are using the first 8 ch's, for a two way t1, how should they be set up. Cannot make or receive right now, and I have a solid green light only on the DTI card.

Under Access Codes or near it look for External Code: 9 and remove it.

forgot...de-provision the b channels 9 to 23 if you are saying its a fractional T1.

Is it set up for E&M I think I remember some thing about manual answer. Play with The protocol too. DMS etc.
