Can anyone help me concerning T1 PRI on an Option 11?

We ordered some T1 cards from Nortel and received a NTRB21 (1.5Mb)TMDI card, a NTAK20 (clock controller) and a NTBK51AA daughterboard.
The documentation (553-3011-310) seems confusing , what I need to know is whether I now have enough cards to get it connected and working. The documentation talks about another card (NTAK09) do I need to order this as well?
I can`t understand why we got a NTBK51AA daughterboard as the NTRB21 has apparently got it`s own on-board downloadable D-channel.

Has the NTRB21 got a physical interface ?

It is a U.K. Option 11, but apparently with release 25 software has the ability to work T1 and E1.

A ntrb21 is a tmdi card that uses software d-channels, look at your slt under tmdi d-channels, the ntbk51aa is for a 51 or higher switch for a nt5d12 dual loop t-1 card. You only need the clock and your tmdi for hardware and d-channel in software. The ntak09 is the older style t-1 card for rls 23 and later, it will work on 24 and 25 but requires a ntbk51ba. Send the ntbk51aa back and check software.

Thanks for your info ( we do actually use the ntbk51aa) already on the Option 11 for the NTBK50 PRI card (Qsig). I tried today to configure but the LD17 prompt states tmdi d-channels available 0, in use 0. Guess I`ll have to get back to Nortel to switch them on.

Thanks again.
