I am looking at the diagnostics section for Bus02 and my d-channel won't come up. I'm concerned because when I look at the drop down list I see the card is a PRI and the b channels are idle, but when I try to place calls I get a fast busy.

any thoughts.

Check to see what co office type is,DMS100 DMS250 AT&T4ESS.
If this your only PRI set clock to Primary.

Check the channel addressing on the card, especially for bus 6 and 7. That PRI kust might be there and bus 2 needs to be changed.

I'm set to protocol NI which is what the phone company is using. I checked bus 6 and 7 and they show unequipped. I'm certain the PRI module is in bus 02. My T1 paraemters are correct against the SBC, but my D channel will not come back up. The service was working fine, now it just won't work.

Any thoughts?

Ensured that you've provisioned your b-channels for the correct number of channels for dialing out.

There are only 2 seasons in Canada, Golf and Snowmobile season.

There maybe a possible issue with trunk modules on BUS 02. We have a GATM and the ports go the same way "Unequipped." A reboot makes it work again. Nortel has three other documented cases and we are monitoring it to see what is causing it.

Trunks default to Bus 2 & 3, But Nortel recommends using 6 & 7.
