Hello,

I have T1 Networking between two OS4K systems, T1 is working fine.

Node A Network
Node B User

but after some days 3 or 4, the T1 is down and i must restart Node B DIUT2 card to return work again if i change the configuration to be like that

Node A User
Node B Network

also i must restart Node B,

i notice that when i make change-refta and modify the error number to be maximum this number is decrease until reach to 0 after sometiems the T1 is down,

the same media is used between two systems(Avaya & AT&T) and its working fine.

Media is SHDSL & Fiber cables.

Any suggestions, Please.

Thanks

Display the trunk - DIS-TDCSU
Change the COP to add in these parameters
CHA-COP:XX,COPADD,RMSG&RRST;

Then any outages will automatically restart the trunk and those restarts that come in from the other side will be acknowledged.

Both sides should not be set to 'Side A'
One should be A and the other B

Both are not clocking (REFTA=0)

One side should provide clocking (REFTA=0)
Other side should get clock from the clocking provider (example REFTA=49)

Other than that I am not overly familiar with T1 (23 channel ISDN) as it is a North America version of Euro ISDN 30 Channel

for Cop parameter, change it for both sites, or only at one site.

Thanks

Both sides,
It acknowledges ISDN Restart messages and acts on them, so if there is a restart on one side it means the circuit will try and restart on both sides to come back and not just sit there waiting.

@SBCSU

T1 is down everyday after im activate COP parameters. and must make a restart to reworking again.

any advise.

Thanks
