Have a IsDN-PRI 24 B channels. Was up in service, was watching it take calls but after about 2 minutes, saw it go MBUSY. Shows as near end trouble. Did busy/reset/release board, no change, does same thing. Carrier shows circuit up. Replaced Ds1 board, still acts the same. Cabling all secure. In a trunk group with other circuits which are not having any issues. Any other trouble shooting ideas. thanks

a pri has 23 b channels and 1 signaling channel, what does a test board show? what does a status of signal group show?

Perform a 'list meas ds1 summ <board number>' to see if you are experiencing slips/framing issues. If it is in a Media Gateway log into the MG and 'show sync timing' to verify the sync source is working (you may be able to see this in the CM 'status sync' if you are on a newer version and have sync over ip enabled). If in a MCC/SCC/G650 cabinet 'status sync' to verify your sync source is working.

Verify the type of central office system you are connecting with. DMS can have some oddities. Depending if you are on a DMS100, 200, or 500 you may need to change from protocol b (restart) to protocol d (service).
