T1 -gnd start instead of tie

just been told by Verizon the new t1 is going to be a Flex-grow as ground start, have always done a tie with e&m ,what is the difference, is the signal still robbed-bit, ,what changes in the trunk group

I have never heard of a ground start on a T1.

Update on T1 Verizon Flex-grow, it is a ground start sending ring down the pipe instead of Dnis, set it up as usaal, but in trunk group use wats with gnd-start, t1-stan & 20 sec delay, it worked

I have a t-1 that is setup to their flex plan. It is setup as a tie line with e&m t1-span 20sec... they send me dnis numbers for local number service
