T1 Call forwarding vs. Centrex call forwarding

I just added a T1 DNIS (DID & Outward calling) as tie lines in pool 890. Our normal POTS line go through the AA, and are in pool 70. I do not have pool 890 in any ARS tables yet, all outgoing calls are temporarily only going out pool 70.

My problem is that our previous setup for remote fowarding to an outside line is Feature 33 with "*" and the number, followed by "#", as these are Centrex lines (whatever that means). For calls coming in on the DID, I found I need to use "9" instead of "*", but in doing so, will not work on a call coming through the Centrex lines. In the big picture, I'm sure calls coming in through the Centrex lines will decrease over time, but in the mean time would like to allow for remote call forwarding regardless of which type of line the call is recieved on. Is this possible?

The only way really, or at least the easiest way is to remove the centrex lines from the ARS. this way any call coming in, regardless of whether it is a centrex line or DID, will forward out via the two-way DID numbers. Just replace the 70 pool with the 890 pool. If you are going to keep some the centrex, leave the 70 pool as the default ARS for 911 calls.

Use the same process for the Centrex as for the T-1, but in order for a call to be forwarded this way, the phone that does the forwarding must be the principal user of that line (the Cenrex line). Set it under the lines/trunks menu. Then, only that phone can forward the centrex line. Since the Centrex are in pools, I believe only the operator can be the principal user of these lines.
