T-Mobile MDA thr Nortel VPN using MS ActiveSync 4.1

I'm trying to use Microsoft ActiveSync 4.1 to sync betw T-Mobile MDA and Outlook. I also use Nortel VPN (CVC V6.01). It won't synchronize with Outlook as it disconnects the VPN. I get this error message: "Eacfilt driver must be enabled on interface(s). Microsoft RNDIS virtual adapter miniport." The Eacfilt miniport doesn't appear in device manager (including looking at hidden devices). I'm using Windows 2000 Pro.

Any suggestions?
