T.38 faxing

We are deploying IAD2400 series routers using 12.4.12 software version on customer sites to provide analog and PRI services. We have a Sylantro softswitch as our CO for these customers. We are having trouble offering reliable T.38 faxing as it appears that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. If the fax is longer than 3 pages, it never works. Does anybody have a configuration for the 2400 series router that will allow for reliable T.38 transmission????
