T-1 card question

I have this card SPN-24PRTA-B.... in an NEC2000. Can it do just plain old T-1 for like e&m signalling etc for tie lines....? Someone told me it wouldnt and that I needed the SPN-24dtAA-C. I just cant imagine that if I have a pri card that it wouldnt operate in T-1 mode without using PRI features.

It was usually the reverse.... You couldnt do PRI with a T-1 card but you could do T-1 with a PRI card.

Some of you gurus give me your thoughts...

I have made it work by following the T1 programming info, but it is not reliable...buy a T1 card refurb ones are not that expensive anymore.

By the way E&M is a completely different protocol for analogue tie lines.
