I have my sysvalue set to disable iSeries accounts after 3 failed attmpts, however, I am having an issue with a signon that I use for Infoview Reporting using Crystal reports. For whatever reason the user account gets disabled nightly. We are looking thru the reports to find the issue but for right now (to control the bleeding) I would like to set the signon attempts to nomax for this particular user.

Doses anyone know if this is possible?

I believe the sign on attempts are system wide,, I could not see anywhere you could change them for a user.

you are correct, I confirmed this with IBM and since it is a systme value it is for all users.

Thank you

I'd look at QHST to see exactly why the profile is being disabled. Or, maybe put object auditing on that user profile.

I'd like to change the world, but I can't find the source code.
