Systemwide OLI setting

Our provider wants our ICS to send out our BTN before it makes any outgoing calls. It's a way to validate and bill our calls to our account.

I have programed the OLI on each set to our BTN. We can complete calls without any problems.

Is there a way to make this a system wide setting? Can this be done by setting the route to send these digits instead of having to program each set with an OLI?

Also, how would you setup the NAM to send the digits before it dials out?

Thanks!

Jon

The OLI needs to be configured on each individual set. No way around it unfortunately. If you configured it on a route, you'd be adding those digits in front of what you're calling.

If memory serves me correctly, you'd configure an OLI on the DN's associated with the voicemail ports, same as done on a set.

Thanks for the post...

The DN for our voice mail is 301. (Feature 985) I set the OLI for 301 and the nam is not able to complete an outgoing call on our pri.

Is there more than one DN for the nam?

Thanks!

YES, HOW MANY CHANNELS DO YOU HAVE

You will more than likely run into a problem when trying to assign the OLI to your voicemail.

4 of the 8 ports on the NAM use the "A" channels, and the others the "B" channels. THe "B" channels do not show up under "Terminal & Sets".

Should be able to assign an oli # to the 4 primary nam dns and the nam should be able to access pri if access is allowed.

Great... now how would I find out which DNs are assigned to the primary 4 channels?

As for the B Channels, how does the nam use these vs the A (primary)channels?

BTW, I can't find the documentation for our NAM. Does any one know where it can be downloaded?

Thanks!
