I have a Windows 2000 server running Citrix XP that the backup is failing with rc 41 on the System_State part of the backup.
If the backup is run without the System_State directive it works fine.
The file it is hanging on is rastls.dll. Anyone know what this file is / does? Same file each time the job fails, however, this doesn't happen on the 14 other Citrix servers that are configured the same and backed up at the same time; and more interesting the same file is backed up in a standard file system backup?!!
3 questions:
1. Is the System_State directive on Win2K necessary for a full caputre of the OS, or is it like NT 4.0 that if the %systemroot%/system32/config is captured then the Registry info etc is already being captured?
2. What exactly does the the System_State directive backup? File system locations / individual files / registry keys?
3. Anyone know of a way round this file being hung on? Or can we just leave the System_State out and still restore the server fully?
Info:
Netbackup 3.4 SP 6 Master - Solaris 8
Netbackup 3.4.1 SP 6 Client - Windows 2000 SP3, Citrix XP
Class File Include List:

System_State:/
