Hi.
Recently had a virus and some spyware enter a pc. When trying to scan the WINNT SYSTEM32 folder, the pc just freezes. Can't scan it using anti-virus or spyware remover. Explorer also crashing when browsing with that. Have tried using safe mode but its no different.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Scott

Scott,

Run these products, I think you still may be infected. When finished, post results and we will go from there.

Webroot Spysweeper 14 Day Trial

Download it here:

Update the defs and do a sweep.

Also check this out:

Ewido download:

Update it and run a complete scan.

I would also check it with some other virus scanners just to make sure.

Best regards.

Erik

Hi.

Thanks for your help.
