I have some very large files on the C drive in System Volume Information folder.

I do not have volume shadow copy enabled on the C drive.

Does anyone know what writes to these files? I use BackupExec 10d and LiveState Recovery 3.0. Other than that, it is Exchange and OWA use.

Thanks for the help.

What files are they? Do you mean "what is the sysvol" or "what are these exact files for?

it is the C:\System Volume Information, the large files end with the .ci extension

i am copying them and removing the file but i am just unsure why they grow so fast
