System utilization very high

Hi

i have sun 220E box which is showing very high system utilization.i checked the processes by vmstat,iostat and sar,all are showing very system utilization.when i checked when i checked cpu utilization per process i did'nt notice any process utilizing very high CPU.Can anyone tell me where exactly the problem lies?????any help will be highly appreciated.

Did you check any process is hang.Try with top commnad.

It doesn't look like it's a CPU bottleneck as you still have idle CPU time. Your 'system' CPU utilisation is very high compared to 'user' CPU utilisation, which implies that you have some very heavy I/O activity going on. Are you sure iostat is not telling you anything?

How do you know that you have "very high utilisation"?
