Hi,
There were cross-linked files on the OS/2 on our NAM.
Looks like our problem was having the ACD and the VM on the same NAM, Nortel is not supporting this any more.We need to solve this issue so that this won’t happen again. What are our options? We are thinking of buying a call pilot 150 , use it for VM and keep the NAM for ACD only. If we do this are there any compatibility issues that we should consider? What do you recommend? Any input will be appreciated.
We have:
MICS 4.1
NAM 4.0
ACD Cinphony I
thanks,

With the NAM you get 1000 mailboxex plus (on VM3 and 4) 100 hours of voice storage. with a CP 150 you get the startup mailboxes (probably 16 or whatever you order) and 16 hours of storage. where I am going with this is you may want to use a CP for ACD and keep the VM on the NAM.

Any other comments??

thanks jerry,
we have a call center invoronment that's why we need most of the features of the ACD, do you think CP will give us what we need?
any other input guys?

I tried on and off for two months to get a NAM up and running. Finally, we figured out the NAM release wasn't compatible with the XC 6.1 software in the MICS. We returned the NAM and bought a CallPilot 150 on the web, with 8 voice channels, 100 mailboxes and 60 hours of storage time for $2,799. I had it fully programmed and working in less than 4 hours.

There are no moving parts, no hard drive, no floppy drive and no fans to breakdown. The web interface is great for both programming and reporting. I couldn't be more pleased.

I didn't need anywhere near the 1000 mailbox capacity and 200 hours of storage on the NAM.

I don't know about Call Center since I just needed straight voicemail. From what I can tell, the CP 150 is a well-designed user-friendly product.
