System upgrade question??

When you upgrade Avaya IP Office from 4.1 to 6.0 do you need to upgrade the voicemail pro with it? And does this upgrade require a license??

yes the VM needs to be upgraded. depending on what phones you have you may need endpoint licenses.

We are pulling out a PRI and going with a VCM to SIP so its mainly just for dial-tone. Their on-site phones are all digital 5410/5420
and they are currently running 4.1 so we are going to upgrade them to 6.0 so we dont have to buy licenses for he VCM, but I dont know if I need to buy licenses on the Voicemail to upgrade it or if the upgrade is free?????

You will need the r6.0 runtime license for the ipo so why not so through to R7.0?? You'll need to upgrade all Avaya apps to the relevant release.
