System tuning

Would anyone have information about tuning a system for running Oracle with AIX. I have a system with 4gigs of RAM, 6 cpus, 4gigs paging space.

I would really like to tune async i/o for:

aio maxservers
aio minservers
aio maxreqs

I am also interested in using "vmtune" for ajusting:

minfree
maxfree
maxpgahead
minperm
maxperm

Does AIX need tuning? and would anyone have default values or a link to a web page for tuning procedures?

covers oracle 9i and AIX 5L but the concepts should be the same . It is quite a lengthy doc 500 Pages +
