I got an error while working with rtecall.
I created a file emp with 2 fields emp.name and emp.id.
I had a button on the home menu to call a script that has the following in statement fields.

1.$L.success.flg=rtecall("rinit", $L.return.code, $L.file3, "emp")
2.eno in $L.file3="12345 " and emp.name in $L.file3="jay"
3.$L.success.flg=rtecall("rupdate", $L.return.code, $L.file3)
I get this error on executing the script--- the record being updated has been deleted.

Could anyone please help me. jay_jayv@indiatimes.com

first select the record, if you try to add, use the rtecall radd .... thats all

I corrected the script to use rtecall radd, it gave me no error, but never added the ecord to the file.

possible a problem with a key ? no error messages ?
1. rinit
2. set the values
3. radd

please check the return code ! Possible duplicate key or something like this ...

I found out the error in the script..
it is the "and" in the second line, replace it with ";" it works.

Thanx a ton for your help jay_jayv@indiatimes.com
