Hi all,
This is a general question about the over all screen design of a system. recently i have been design interface to my system as a main from broken into section with frames inside these frames are button that link the interface together. The user access's the main screens of the system from here. i thought this was OK, but i then read an article about using tabs to access the different section the system. i wanted to read over this article again but can't find it. if i could get some feedback and even better pic of various design of access systems that the mighty tek-tips crew have designed to help me decided how to go about the design of my next application. i want to get the design of this system an any further systems correct before i go ahead a start developing

Thanks in Advance

Simon

Are you talking about a form tab control? Yes, those are very useful, but there are many options when it comes to application interface. But don't design your database around an idea of an interface. Design it from the ground up starting with the table design, then your interface will fall into place once you know how your data is related. The form interface usually follows a one-to-many flow showing related parent/child records.

For an idea of what other Access interfaces look like, you can do a google search on "access database solutions" or something like that, and you'll find many websites showing products developed in Access which have screen shots you can view.

Good Luck,

Mike
