I have a Compaq 7003EA and have just fallen victim to a worm virus. I have McAfee Office that I installed originally, then was informed that I should abort installation to run the emergency diskette. After doing this I have encountered two problems:
1) McAfee Office will not install now-saying that I must uninstall McAfee Utilities beforehand. When I try to do this, an error message tells me that there is a mising DLL file and cannot complete the installation.
2)When trying to use system restore, it now brings me to a window with the date 30th December 1899! I can't alter this date therefore cannot system restore.
This is really getting on my nerves now
Any help will be gratefully accepted and appreciated
p.s. When I had Virus Scan installed originallly, it did detect and clean the virus in question.
