Questioned - Every morning one of our laptop users seems to accumulate viruses from the past day. Even though we have permanently deleted them the previous day. It seems that a system restore is happening every morning as a new Restore folder is created in the System volume, and these are were the viruses are being found. Why is this folder being created every morning? Can I stop this from happening? I have check the system restore settings and there is no time option avail.

You need to disable system restore as its restored the virus.

Look here for some instructions

Antivirus software recommend you to turn of system restore when you are cleaning the system from viruses....

For more information about system restore read this article from MS

I know its for Windows ME but its the same problem on windows XP
