system restore problem and much more!

Hey,

Im new to this forum and looking for help with my computer. It had been working fine until one day i just turned it on and theres ALOT wrong with it. Most likely a virus im thinking. Symptons are...

- long time to start up
- norton internet security and anti virus will not start
- can not run system restore (or disable)
- can not copy and paste anything
- only a few programs will work
- windows media player does not work
- when programs are open they do not show in the bottom bar. Only way to get to them is Ctrl Tab.

I think theres a few things ive left out but what could this be? I have run every antivirus and spyware software (that will run) that exsists and none of them do anything.

Please get back to me soon. Im starting to think a windows reload is needed.

Have you read the FAQs on this forum? They are a good place to eliminate most of the obvious stuff. When you've been through them, come back with a list of what you've done, and what problems remain
