System restore point problem

I have problem with system restore points on my drive, it runs Win7 Home premium x64.
It shows that there is 1% of the drive (340gb) reserved to it but it doesn't consist any restore points, I have also noticed that it earlier showed 0% reserved and have since changed it but it doesn't create any new restore points.
I was wondering if you have any idea of how to correct this.
