The system restore function on my PC doesn't apper to be working properly. It won't allow me to revert back to any previous restores that I had manually created. The restore feature is NOT turned off either. It doesn't show any previous restores on the calendar or allow me to tab back a month. HELP!

Some research for you to check out.

Some general things to try.

Turn System Restore off, reboot, and then turn it back on. See if there are any problems with the System Restore Service.

Check out your Event Viewer for any errors.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows itself by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.
