System Restore does not work 1

No calendar is displayed when I go to "Select a Restore Point" window.Message reads "There are no restore points credited for this day.To restore immediately, pick another day and restore point and try again."
But I cannot go "back" or "next".
I have enabled System Restore. But that doesn't produce the calendar and thus I cannot use System Restore.
What do I do?
