System restore after msc replacement.

We have a BCM 400 4.0 that we are looking at replacing the
MSC card in, we know we will have to regenerate the keycodes
for the new MSC. The question is will we still be able to restore a backup that was taken with the old MSC card in the
switch?

Make sure to load the latest SU_System then do your backup,change the MSC card and do your restore.(telephony only)
You should not have any problem.
