I have created this database which connects to our server and autopopulates a main form. The main page has all the fields from the public folders in outlook. So when I want to view a certain company, I choose the name from the drop down menu (combo box) and the remaining fields autopopulate from my selection. However, it seems very, very, very slooooo on populating all the fields. Some of the fields it looks as though the top half of the data is erased. At times (alot lately) I seem to be getting an error message "System Resources Exceeded". Why does this happen and how can I correct this?

Hello:

Sounds like a network bandwidth problem or memory issue.

Mark

I think you should post the sql and / or details of how you are populating the table.

I linked the public folder as a linked table then changed the properties in the control source to reflect the data from the table.

If it was a bandwidth issue or a memory issue, would it only be with the PC that I created the database on. Could I move to another PC in the office to complete the database or would it be a memory issue with the server?

Hello:

I would try it on another PC to try to isolate the problem. If the same behavior exists on another PC then, at least you have eliminated a probable cause.

Mark
