Customer currently has a two carrier system which is being replaced with a single ACS R8 with 5 slot carrier and (3) 308EC modules.

With their current system, stations 10 through 27 are in one carrier and extensions 40 through 55 are in another. I see no way to keep extensions 40 through 55. The extensions which were previously in carrier 2 will have to change extension numbers correct?

What do you have in the last slot of the first carrier? Normally that would be another 206 module, and contain extensions 28 through 33. If that is empty or a voicemail card, it was never upgraded properly, and that's just the way it is. The ACS supports 48 extensions, but you can't achieve them if you have a Messaging Card as well.

Depending on the number of lines, you may be able to use 012 modules and an external voice mail system. The system is able to go up to Ext 57. It would depend on how many line ports you need. The more extensions you use, the less line ports you have.
