Hi everyone,
I am checking on a newly installed system analog combo, TCM, VCM64 and PRI circuits. They're having random reboots with this Alarm being displayed: ".FATAL DSI Excep address=00000010 d=5 pc=f107fa80 f109b744 f109bc6c f109cbb8 f109cf48 f109d880 IP 500 V2 9.0.0.0 build 829"

Has anyone seen this before who could point me in the direction in which I could check? My suspicion is that the client's LAN has serious issues.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Blessings always,

Michael

I would upgrade them first and see if that fixes the reboots.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I thought so too, Peter. It's just that it was installed only a week ago I'm told and unfortunately the installers didn't do due diligence by upgrading to the latest. So now scheduling an upgrade will show up the Company's (apparent) incompetence. Now if the issue continues after the upgrade the client will begin to have serious doubts about the Company or the IP Office. True?

Best regards,

Mike

Still upgrade and tell the customer that the engineer totally forgot to upgrade before installing.
Being honest is the best way.

Hey Jamaica!

I've had one DSI once, had to rebuild the config from scratch and default the chassis.
System wouldn't forward calls outside, just rebooted every time.

DSI doesn't say much, just a common code for Bloodclot...

Kind regards

Gunnar

LOL. That was such an Americanized version of Jamaica!! BTW, the REAL captain of the bobsled team was my brother-in law.

Dudley Stokes? They did their best run when they were here in '94...

So, did you get the IPO fixed?

Kind regards

Gunnar

Sorry for the delay in response team. We haven't yet scheduled an upgrade and (though this is my second week with this company) I'm running to, fro and thither looking at a number of issues for several of their customers. I'll update the site as soon as I am able to.

Gunaro, you are correct on that point but the best (funniest) moment for me was the first year they entered when they came screaming down the track on their heads! My sis didn't find it funny though.

We upgraded the system to the latest 9.0.3 (941) yesterday morning. We'll continue to monitor it for a while to see if the reboot re-occurs.

Did you apply the critical patch?

Sorry for the late reply all. I have been "outing fires"!
No I haven't Peter, but so far no more reports of rebooting (all fingers and toes crossed).

Regards.
