System process high cpu usage

Hi,

does anybody have the same problem? The process "system" is constantly using CPU, jump up and down from 0% to 80% every 2-3 seconds. checked all possible causes including virus, trojans, rootkit, latest udpate...nothing comes up.

BTW: this server (web server) runs on MS Virtual server, so it doesn't have hardware issue, and it has no web traffic. in fact disabling network doesn't change a bit...

Hi,

Do you use NOD32?
Maybe AMON or IMON is the answer. Try to disable IMON first. Look the results, if not disable AMON too.
ProcessExplorer also could help to see the details...
