SYSTEM not recognizing ASA/DXD card

On a working R8 system with a remote backup and ASA/DXD card. was working perfect for over a year. Today sta 10 display shows "no ASA/DXD card" I noticed the red light on on the processor.
upon reboot the DXD played part of the recording and then quit. The owner said it has been going in and out for days. I tried removing and re-inserting card.
Any suggestions, the card the processor or something else. I even traded slots with the backup and restor card and the backup card works fine. This system is at a small motel and has worked perfect and is loaded. 012e, 308ec, processor R8, 308ec, 308ec

Sounds like the card has gone bad or suffered a corruption. Do you have another ACS in which you could test the card?

No, but i will have a new card today to try. I sold all of my spare ACS when they discontinued the system. I usually work on definity. I suspect as you do that the card got corrupted somehow. The ACS has always been reliable for me.

Problem solved. The ASA/DXD card was corrupted. Installed a new card today and re-recorded and works perfect. This is the first time I have ever had an ASA/DXD card go bad in a working system.
