I am having problems getting my system monitor cards NT8D22 working in my 81c. I have double and triple cheked all the dip switch settings. I have tried new cards and cards that I tested in my 61c that worked fine in the 61c. I did notice that in the installation instructions it shows an NT8D46AL cable connecting the master to core 1 and an NT8D46AP to the slaves. Are these cables AL and AP wired differntly? I only have the AL one. Does anyone know the pinout if they are different?

one is wired null the other direct pin out..

sys mon does not work at all.. disconnect the silver satin.. stat the mon on the active side... only cable in play is the one that runs from the ps to the top of the stack... get that col working and then add each col..

the silver satin, 4 cond can only be wire two ways,, pin to pin of rolled.. i've never had one that did not work

I did the exact thing you suggested last night and got it working. I did discover that the satin line cords have to be plugged in a certian way. I had to flip all my line cords to get it to work.

Thanks for the help.

good job.. i do that on a lot of problems.. break it down to a min config then add to that..
