A box I have that is running Solaris 2.6 keeps rebooting itself with a kernal error.
How can I run an equivelent of an fsck in 'ok' mode ?
I have already tried boot - r etc...

do you mean fsck and auto answer 'yes' to everything?

I have tried all the prom commands that I know...including, probe-scsi-all etc..( Solaris 2.6)
The system keeps rebooting with a kernal error. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

so it never boots, just keeps going into a reboot cycle?

ok ... you need to boot to the cdrom (or other install medium) and before it goes into asking all the awkward questions and suggesting you format the disk ...

open up a console/command tool and fsck your disks ...

see if that helps :)

Had that problem too. server kept hanging in an endless boot-loop... Nice having an install-server.
Install it new! Everything else is basically a waste of time.
